ASSA Aqua is proud to present Shrimp Tonic! It is the first of its kind in the world and is the fruit of close to 8 years of research. It is the only synthetic immunoglobulin in the world tailored for shrimps. Only after more than a year of testing on Red Bee Shrimps or Crystal Red Shrimps has it been made available to hobbyists.

Shrimps have no immune system as they are a low form of life.  Constant use of Shrimp Tonic is needed to provide immunization against viruses (White spot syndrome virus and Taura virus) and improve general immunity against other viruses; this method is known as passive immunity.

Shrimp Tonic also consists of nearly twenty amino acids which provide a general line of defence for shrimps by  strengthen cell  to increase resistance to virus attack. Shrimp Tonic is able to increase vitality and help in the growth of shrimps and even fishes.

The nutrients in the Shrimp Tonic are highly concentrated and easily dissolve in tank water. This product does not pollute aquarium water and it does not contain any chemical ingredients.

From our experiments on 3 groups of sick shrimps affected by Taura virus, the survival rate of the first group, which was not dosed with Shrimp Tonic was only 20% after 21 days. The second group which was dosed once had an 80% survival rate at the end of 21 days. The third group had which had daily doses of Shrimp Tonic throughout the 21 days had a 100% survival rate!

When the causes of shrimp deaths are unclear, the combination of the immunoglobulin and the amino acidic from the Shrimp Tonic can be used to reduce the death.

Shrimp Tonic has been found to:
- retard massive death syndrome of crystal red shrimps
- improve the hatch rate of eggs and survival rate of fries
- reduce death rates of gestating females
- reduce unexplained intermittent deaths
- helps shrimps to recover after an exhausting molting
- revitalize shrimps due toxification eg. CO2 poisoning, insecticide poisoning, water change shock or ammonia toxification. 

Standard Dosage:
0.45g (a scoopful. flat) for every 100 litres of aquarium water once per day.

Use on Breeding Tank or Sick Shrimp Tank:
Apply the standard dosage twice a day.

For Emergency Recovery:
For example, after accidental toxification due to insecticide (bug spray). Make a water change to remove toxins in the water, then dose triple the standard amount for the 1 day followed by the usual daily doses as condition improves.

It is necessary to keep this product in a fridge after opening. Always use a dry scoop.
